The Dwarf
The Dwarf rabbit is smaller then the Standard, and is our main breed.
Characteristics: Small size, thick body, round head, big eyes, short ears, short and thick fur
Temperament: Energetic, very sweet, friendly
Average Weight: Under 2 kilograms
Some Dwarf rabbits are fuzzy, like a Dwarf Angora. These are different though, as they are still purebred and as small as a Dwarf. These rabbits are still classified as Dwarf rabbits, just fluffy.

The Dwarf Angora
The Dwarf Angora is a bred down version of the standard Angora. It is slightly larger than the normal Dwarf rabbit.
Characteristics: Thick body, compact head, shortish ears, long and woolly fur
Temperament: Mellow, playful
Weight: 2-2.5 kilograms

The Rex
The Rex is a very rare breed in the Eastern Cape, only recently being available. It is a medium to large sized rabbit with unique fur.
Characteristics: Long ears, "camel-shaped" head, large and thick body, and long legs. The coat's guard hairs are the same length as the undercoat, creating short, extremely soft fur with a plush, springy texture.
Temperament: Intelligent, affectionate, easy-going
Weight: 2-4 kilograms
